Everlasting love

The Rose that shall forever bloom,
The fragrance of which shall always prolong.
The lineage that you left behind-
Your two handsome boys,
True modern Princes, who works diligently for your unfinished causes.
Lady Di ! The Peoples'  Princess,
You placed a rose in million hearts with success.
Your touch, your smile, your beauty
Lit like flashbulbs across the length and breadth of countless countries.
The Rose looks beautiful from far and prettier even closer,
Each petal intricately placed one on top of the other.
Your personality and life was not an easy reign;
Delicately designed, yet intricately stacked with passion and pain.
The thorns that pricked,
The tears that welled,
Those ethereal eyes,
The quivering lips & the shaken heart,
You broke open from the shackles of the gilded cage,
And glided and bumped into rough terrain.
Your voice found strength; you rebuild your broken path;
You used your platform and stood steadfast yet uncertain.
Two decades on, you live on.
We remember you, a heroic Princess gone.
And you lived like a ‘candle in the wind’,
Swept away too soon,
Yet glowing, glistening ambers never really die
Especially such that get placed deep inside.
We think of you and our hearts blithe.
The love that you left behind,
Million candles continue to light.
Your love, your touch, your smile!
We all miss that so much;
The embers glow, the memories raw
The peoples' Princess, Lady Di!
 Your candle continues to glow….
